Premium quality without the hassle of adhesive 🧱
The first thing you notice when you unbox it: The brick quality is absolutely top-notch. The pieces snap together perfectly, the colors are rich—it really makes building a joy. And now hold on to your hats: Not a single sticker. Everything you see in terms of graphics is high-quality printing. In this day and age, that’s a huge compliment to me! Who needs shaky hands from sticking on stickers when you can just dive right in? Awesome! 👍
A modular marvel of the Wild West 🏛️
The set is extremely easy to assemble and has a logical structure. The model is fully modular:
- Ground floor: The cashier’s office and the heavy-duty safe.
- First floor: Removable and bustling with activity.
- Roof: Also removable for a clear view.
- Wall panels: Partially removable to get a better view of the action inside.
With a total of three balconies, the bank also offers enough space for the six included minifigures to assess the situation (or plan their escape). 🏃♂️💨
Details that make a collector’s heart beat faster ✨
Lumibricks hasn’t skimped on the details here. On the upper floor, there’s a trapdoor that leads directly into a prison cell—perfect for quickly “storing” uninvited guests. We find a sheriff’s office for the law enforcement officers and an exclusive “investor chill zone” (after all, one wants to philosophize about one’s gold in style). 💰🛋️
But the best part is the interactive features: On the upper level, you can simulate an illuminated explosion of a section of the wall, and on the lower level, you can literally “blow up” a section of the wall at the push of a button. This gives the whole thing a sense of dynamism that’s rarely executed this well.
Light in the Darkness: The Cable Fairy Was There💡
What would a Lumibricks set be without lighting? Exactly—only half the fun. The Western Bank Heist comes fully illuminated. The highlight for me are the special “cable-hiding” bricks. Anyone who knows me knows that I hate cable clutter like the plague. Here, everything is neatly routed through the bricks, so that in the end, only the warm glow of the bank takes center stage. It looks simply phenomenal when the bank shines on the shelf! ✨
Bottom line: A gold rush for the display case 🏆
The Lumibricks Western Bank Heist is an all-around fantastic set. Great minifigures, brilliant play features, no stickers, and lighting that sets the gold standard. If you’re looking to add a real standout to your building-block city, you absolutely can’t go wrong with this. I give it a resounding “buy”!
